A Solider for Christmas Book Review

I was excited when I found a few other books by Jillian Hart at the library after I finished reading the one book that I had from her.  There aren't a lot of them in the series but I got the ones that I could and this was my first one to read.  A Soldier for Christmas (The McKaslin Clan: Series 3, Book 1) (Larger Print Love Inspired #367) by Jillian Hart was the next book that I got to enjoy the holiday season and find out what other books this great author wrote.

When the tall soldier entered the Christian bookstore, Kelly Logan nearly fell over. Could it be Mitch Dalton, the classmate she'd once had a crush on? Skinny Mitch had matured into a heart-stoppingly handsome man. And he wanted her to help him find a present for his mother. As they discovered the perfect gift, a friendship ignited. But friendship and a common faith was all it was. Mitch was leaving for the Middle East, and besides, after her tumultuous upbringing, Kelly felt relationships were hazardous. Yet, a lingering hope told her that perhaps God had special plans for them

Loved this book.  It was about Kelly who I read about in one of the other books who finally meets someone that she feels might change her life.  He is a friend from high school that grew up and into a great man.  She tells him that she just wants to be friends.  He works to help her study math, bring her and her roommate dinner and ends up finding lots of reason to be around her including shopping for his mother's birthday present.  Then they are separated when he goes back into the Middle East with the military.  She is worried about him and he is worried that the distance is going to turn their friendship into a split that he doesn't want.  It is a great story and you have to read it to find out all the things happen in their relationship but I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did.  I hope that you check out this book at your local library or bookstore because I think that you will enjoy it as much as I have!
