Menu Plan Monday 3/20

Monday- Chicken fries, Buffalo Chicken with homemade fries
Tuesday- Pasta
Wednesday- French Dip Sloppy Joes
Thursday- Jam Chicken with white rice
Friday- Leftover Night
Saturday- ?
Sunday- Herb Butter Roasted Chicken

Last week went okay for the most part and I made all of the meals on the nights that I was supposed to and we went with leftovers (which I can't remember) on Saturday after we were at a birthday party because my son and I were still full from the party.  I made the lasagna for us and my son had white rice per his request.  All in all we had a very planned week!

We have been working without a plan for the weekends and it has been going a little okay except that if I want to make a chicken, I have to take it out at least a week ahead to defrost in the fridge so this lack of planning has caused a lack of whole chickens being baked.  I have used all my freezer room and containers for my chicken broth so there was a little bit of a backup on the chickens because I wasn't making broth.  There are even some chicken carcasses in the freezer now but I ran out of those containers too.  I saved some glass jars to freeze in and I used some of them to get caught up on my broth making and freezing.  Here is hoping that I get to make a chicken either Saturday or Sunday depending on the schedule.  I hope that you have a tasty week.
