Top Secret Twenty One Book Review

I walked into the library and there is was right in front of me- three copies of the new Janet Evanovich book, Top Secret Twenty-One: A Stephanie Plum Novel by Janet Evanovich!  I was excited because I was almost done with my other two books that I was reading and I was ready to get it.  Since I was over 500th when I signed up, I figured that I would never get it.  I actually went home and took myself off the list and I was much closer to 400th!!  I went to the self check out to scan it and it told me that I couldn't check it out.  I went to the desk to have some one help me with a frown on my face.  The lady said that she would help me and she told me that this book would learn more about Ranger!

Jimmy Poletti was caught selling more than cars so he was arrested and Vinnie bonded him out.  After missing his court date, Stephanie is sent to look for Jimmy but every lead ends up at a dead end.  With the dead bodies piling up, Stephanie starts to work with Randy Briggs, former hospital security guard and bookkeeper for Poletti.  At the same time, Stephanie is dealing with Ranger to find the person who is trying to kill him.  There is more action and more tension in this book then in any other.  Make sure you pick it up and check it out to find out what is going to happen in this great installment of the Stephanie Plum novels.  I don't want to give it away for any of you who haven't read it yet :)

I loved this book!! It was one of the most action packed and realistic books in the series.  With the same great characters, it was a great read which was over to early because I couldn't put it down!!!  I wonder how long it is before the next one comes out.  I can't believe how quickly I read the whole series and how long I am going to have to wait for the next one to be written and published.  I hope that you pick it up at your local library or bookstore soon.  Of course if there is a waiting list of 500 people, the bookstore is a much better option!  On to the next series of books and more great summer reading.
