Last week:
Family Goals
Spend time with family- We had a great week together which ended in Daddy's Dad at the school so my husband took my son to see his school and talk to the teachers and then to the Bring Your Own Wheels event at the school afterwards. I even got an extra break which I wasn't sure what to do with because they went to Lowes so I got busy on the computer with my amazingly silent house.Playdate with friends after school (another mom and I are switching days picking the kids up from school so we get one day with no kids for most of the day and then another where the kids entertain each other so it is the best of both worlds)- We got to have the friend over to our house this week and the two played together really well and didn't want to be done when it was time to leave.
Cut coupons from this week- I cut my coupons a little early this week because I was set to be prepared for the super doubles at Harris Teeter. I cleaned out all of my expired coupons and then I got everything printed, filed and a list made. It was super organized woman and I don't know where she came from.Get coupons on Friday or Saturday- I checked three places and the local paper doesn't seem to have the coupons this week so I didn't get any :( Bad news no coupons, good news is no cutting.Shut off computer 6 nights to save energy- I shut off the computer every day that we were gone from the house and every night before it was time to go to sleep.- Finally back to Jazzercise- HAHA!!! I got called to sub and instead of saying no and going to exercise, I said yes and went to work. I was going to go on Saturday morning but I decided do a couponing thing and should have moved it earlier but with so many things going on, I didn't know which way was up. It didn't happen this week!
Go to Lakeshore Learning Teacher class- I wanted to go last month and didn't make it because when it got that late in the day, I forgot. I signed up for the one next month too so hopefully I will remember.Sub two days- I went in two days and had lots of fun doing the Olympics with the little ones.Work on posting to ebay- This take a lot of time but I think that am doing better now with the coupons that I am choosing to sell and managing my time. I got a bunch up and it is almost the end of the month so I have a few more open spots to use this month and a few more coupons that I would like to get up. Currently a little under $35 in profit for the month and hope to get a little more in to be around $45 to $50. It is a lot of work and I tend to wonder if it is worth this much work to make $40 which I can make in one morning subbing at school but I am making a profit off of no investment so I am going to keep at it until I am out of stamps that I bought at the $0.46 rate and then re-evaluate.Start Wild book (true story which is going to be made into a movie soon)- I wanted to start it but the first time I picked it up was bedtime and I wasn't sure if it would be a good bedtime book based on the content so I read another book in the pile first and finished it and started this book. It actually has barely talked about being on a mountain or in the wilderness yet so I don't know how it is going to be but it is a good story so far.
Clean dishes, counters and floors at least 5 days of the week- I did pretty good cleaning the dishes all week. There was one night where I should have run the dishwasher before I went to bed and I totally forgot so there was a little back up the next day when I was over filled but I found room for lots more things and had a jammed packed full dishwasher so it all worked out fine.Clean dishes one night and not wait until the morning- I did this early in the week one night and my husband did it another night and I got them all done on Friday night because we decided to have leftovers which saves on dishes that don't go into the dishwasher.
Post one post everyday (schedule 7 posts so that can spend more time with family)- Got lots of posts up and scheduled ahead of time which gave me the time to do all of the other things that I had on my long list of to dos.Review book reviews completed during the week (if done)- Review should be up soon.Work on a few posts to work ahead for the coming week- Not nearly what I wanted to get done this week but I got the rough draft of a ton of them and I am going to try to get some scheduled late on Saturday (many of the rough drafts finished and posted) and work on some new posts on Sunday. I think that I have a good rough schedule for the rest of the month.Post Sunday Weekly Goals, Menu Plan Monday, Kid Wednesday and Thrifty Thursday Tip- I got them up and posted ahead of time which was good because it was a busy week with out a lot of time for me to get them done.
