Last week the meal plan went pretty well and we just switched most of the day so there are lots of scribbles where the old plan was to write what we actually had on that night. There is one night that we scratched off some pasta to eat leftovers. The fridge was pretty full with lots of them and we got to have a lot of yummy things and fill the dishwasher to run that night so that there weren't too many dishes to clean up. After a long week, it was the perfect meal. How did your week go?
Monday is going to be pork chops which were just added to the menu because I got them super cheap at the store so we are having those with some stuffing. I can't decide whether I am going to make the stuffing from scratch or use the one remaining box of stove top that I have in the cupboard but I think that I also have some frozen stuffing so I guess there are lots of choices.
I am going to make another McCormick Recipe Inspiration on Tuesday which is the day that I have most time this week so hopefully I will be able to read the recipe before and try it out. I think that most of the things that I have made from the recipes cards. We have liked all of the recipes that we have tried from them so I am sure that this will be no exception. It is just finding the uninterrupted time to make a new recipe that takes the time! I should have it posted sometime soon too!
How does your week look? Have you looked at the calendar to see that it was the end of the month again!! Where did the month go? Well, good news is that I did a great job getting through the month with the things that we had in the house which really helps me to stay under budget (currently around $107 with two more planned shopping trips).
