A Little Shopping mixed in with summer fun!

My son and I were on another one of our marathon days of summer entertainment.  We spent the morning and some of the afternoon at the Fairfax Corner splash/spray fountain.  I was exhausted after being out in the sun and getting burnt but there was so much more to do :)  We were off to Aldi's because we were running low on milk and graham crackers.  My little man also felt that we needed mini twisty pretzels since we only had the thin stick ones (his words, not mine).  Then, I also grabbed the vegetable shortening because we were out.

On the way home, we stopped at CVS because my son was out of his vitamins.  He pointed that out to me the day before and we got so busy we forgot to stop.  Luckily, they were on sale Buy One, Get One Free.  We got two :)

He had enough of getting in and out of the car (and got his vitamins as soon as we got in the car) so we were headed home.  Shopping with a four year old is challenging on a good day but on a tired and long day, late in the afternoon, it is the worst!  I was hoping that I can get more things done when he is in summer camp so that we don't have so many stops to shop :)
