I was looking for another book to read from my pile of books that I owned. I picked His Forever Love (Love Inspired) by Missy Tippens based on the small size of the paper back so that I could read it in bed. It did say that it was larger print but it didn't seem a ton larger to me. It was a nice size and not crowded on the page which sometimes happens with the smaller print. I was excited to see what it was about.
In Magnolia, Georgia, local legend says that a couple who holds hands
around the "forever" tree will have an unending love. Even so, Bill
Wellington held Lindsay Jones's hands around that tree years ago…and
then left her behind. He chose the big city, and now he wants to bring
his grandmother there. But to his amazement, he finds that Granny has a
boyfriend—and a vibrant life. A life that includes Lindsay, Granny's
caregiver. Bill never thought he'd want to come home, yet Magnolia
clearly has its charms. As does Lindsay, who makes him long for a second
chance at forever love.
I wasn't sure about this one when I started but Bill came home to see his grandmother after she fell. He was really negative and I was thinking that this was going to be a slow going book but I think that it was mostly guilt because someone else was there taking care of his grandmother and not him. Bill quickly opened up in this small town where he grew up with the help of his grandmother's care giver and childhood friend, Lindsay. It was fun to watch the changes in Bill as he spent more time in the small town and how he was going to change his whole life quickly. I hope that you check out this book and enjoy it as much as I have. Check it out and see if this might be a fun book for you to add to your reading list.
