His Country Girl Book Review

I went to the library to check out some books with my son and I got a chance to look at the shelf of the free books that they were giving away.  I was excited to find this book because I have really enjoyed all of the others by this author but there are very few in the library so I jumped at the chance to read another book by Jillian Hart.  It looks like it is available through Kindle and very hard to find in paper back book so I hope your local library has His Country Girl (Granger Family Ranch, Book 4) by Jillian Hart so that you can check it out too.

To fulfill a sick boy's wish, rodeo star Tucker Granger surprises little Owen in the hospital. But no one is more surprised than single mother Sierra Baker. She figures the carefree champion for a different kind of man. One who doesn't spend hours talking "cowboy code" with a hospital-bound child. One who can't have her dreaming of a second chance at love. Somehow, Tucker ropes her heart and fills it with hope. Hope that this country girl and her son can lasso the roaming bronc rider into their family forever.

I instantly fell in love with Owen who was in the hospital going through major surgery.  He is being supported by his mother, Sierra, who was there for his ever need and you could tell she needed a little break.  Owen makes a wish to have Tucker Granger, a famous cowboy come to visit him in the hospital.  It turns out that Sierra knew Tucker from their small town back home and they grew up together so she wasn't expecting a lot.  It turned out that he helped Owen feel better and gave Sierra a chance to rest to feel better too.  The cowboy stepped up to support mother and son during their hardest time.  After Owen gets released from the hospital, Tucker promises to be there for the boy.  I think that you will be surprised at how he follows through with his promise to the little boy.  I know that I enjoyed watching their friendship grow and Tucker to grow on Sierra.  I hope that you check out this book and see for yourself how much fun this was to read.  It is a quick and easy read which I wish didn't go as quickly as it always does when I can't put down the book.
