Fetching Sweetness Book Review

I was excited to see another book by this author because I really enjoyed the first book.  Fetching Sweetness: A Novel for Dog Lovers (Love Unleashed) by Dana Mentink was another installment of the Love Unleashed series which I enjoyed last time.  I didn't even look to see if it was about the same people, the same dog or anything.  I just new that I had to jump in and see what this one was all about...just so you know it is new people and a new dog!!!  Both incredibly entertaining!!

It should have been so simple for Stephanie Pink: Meet up with Agnes Wharton in a small town in California, retrieve the reclusive author's valuable new manuscript, and be promoted to a full-fledged literary agent.  But Agnes's canine companion, Sweetness, decides to make a break for it before Stephanie can claim her prize. Until Agnes has Sweetness safely back at home in Eagle Cliff, Washington, Stephanie will never set eyes on the manuscript she needs to make her dreams come true.  When Stephanie tracks the runaway mutt to a campground, she meets Rhett Hastings—a man also on the run from a different life and a costly mistake. Rhett agrees to help Stephanie search for the missing dog...thus launching a surprising string of adventures and misadventures.  Once Sweetness gets added to the mix, it's a recipe for love and loss, merriment and mayhem, fun and faith in the backwoods of the Pacific Northwest.

I loved it!!!  This book was even better then the first one which I also really enjoyed.  I loved the crazy Stephanie Pink and her off the wall ideas.  I was immediately ready to root for her since she started the book at the bottom of her luck...riding on a bus to get to a meeting because she lost her drivers license.  There are so many things that go wrong in this book so quickly but it doesn't end for Stephanie when she doesn't get the manuscript that she is looking for after meeting with the reclusive author, Agnes Wharton.  Stephanie is tasked with finding in the small town in California and returning Agnes' dog, Sweetness to her in Washington.  Without a license and without any purse (because she left it in Agnes' car), she is without hope until she meets Rhett.  The trouble doesn't end there for this group trying to follow the good path and make a better life.  I know that you need to pick up the book to find out what happens through the ups and downs of this interesting book!!  Hope that you check out this book and other books by this wonderful author!! If you enjoyed this book, it looks like she has a third coming out in the series next year so stay turned and I hope that I get to read and review that one for your too!!  But while you are waiting, make sure to read this book and the one that came before because I know that you will enjoy both of them!!
