November Reading Review

I was started on another busy month but I hope that I still fit in a lot of reading time.  I really like to be able to read and relax.  It is my only quiet time where I get to sit down and do nothing.  I have gone to bed early just to get an extra hour to read.  Do you love to read too??  Of course, sleep is important too but I normally don't realize that until it is hard to get up the next morning.

Below are all the books that I read this month.  If you missed the review the first time, feel free to click on the title and it will take you back to the review.  Hope you add a few of them to your must read list.  Let me know what I need to add to my list too!!

  1. I really love to read but lately I have loved watching TV shows more because I can do other things at the same time like surfing the net, working on my blog, folding the laundry, doing the dishes...

I have a pile of 7 library books that I really want to read but at the same time, I dread opening one of them because I know that means I won't be doing anything else (but stuffing my face because I can't seem to read without eating!) for the next 5-7 hours. And I don't like audiobooks so that's not an option. How long does it take you to read one of the books you review, on average? When I read Harlequin and other romance, it only took me about an hour per book.

8 books during a busy month, that's a good number! I can't remember if you had a total number of books you were hoping to hit for the whole year?

    1. The books all seem to take a different amount of time but if I sit down and read only the book, I can do one of the shorter ones in 12 hours or less with making meals and other life stuff but with everything going on and very little reading going on, it was taking a week or more to read some of the books. It is almost just as bad because you practically forget what you are reading before you pick it up again. I am reading a long one now so it might take awhile but then I have a bunch of short ones coming up so who knows what December will hold.

I aim to hit over 100 every year for what I am reading. Then after that, I just try to beat last year to compete with myself. I did 78 in 2012 and then went to 139 in 2013 and then went to 99 on 2014. I am actually at my high total since I started keeping track so woo hoo for me!!
