Heart of Texas Volume 2 Book Review

I was excited to pick up the second book in the series after finishing the first to see what the characters have been up to since I finished the last book. Heart of Texas Volume 2: Caroline's Child\Dr. Texas by Debbie Macomber was the next in my pile and I couldn't pick it up fast enough.  I was hoping to be able to sit and read the book over the weekend but I had so many things going on around the house and clearing out the other house.  I couldn't wait to find out what else was happening in this great small town.

Loved it!!  I was so tired and falling asleep while reading the end of the book.  I actually had to put the book down and finish the next morning but I was trying to open my eyes and keep reading because I had to find out what happens next.  I hope that you check out this book and others in the series by Debbie Macomber.  I know that you will enjoy them as much as I have!!

 I loved it as much, if not more, than the first one in the series.  The first story was heart wrenching going through the process of finding out who the father of Caroline's child was even though she had been keeping it a secret from everyone.  Even more then that, the terror that they go through in this story was unreal and I know that anyone will be on the edge of their seats waiting to find out what happens.  The second story was a wonderful love story and you see how two people change when they are in love even though it might not work out the way that they want.  There are two couples fighting to be together or apart and it is wonderful to see how those relationships change through the story and with the power of love.  I hope that you pick up this book at your local library or bookstore and check it out for yourselves.  I know that you will enjoy this small town filled with big characters.
