Plum Spooky Book Review

The last of my between the numbers novels was Plum Spooky (Stephanie Plum: Between the Numbers) by Janet Evanovich.  I was glad to see that this was a full sized book and not smaller like some of the others one were.  It wasn't sure exactly what was going to be spooky about it but I was ready to try.

Diesel appears back in Stephanie's life which means that she is in for more strange occurrences than she usually has.  She finds a monkey attached to her front door with a note that the owner is out of town and she needs to watch the monkey.  They end up in a very rural area called the Pine Barrens chasing after one of Stephanie's fugitives, Martin Munch, and come upon a cage full of monkeys!  Diesel is chasing Wulf Grimoire who just happens to be working with Munch.  Stephanie and Diesel work together to take care of the monkey, catch the bad guys and find some adventures along the way.  If you pick up the book, you will find out some of the mysteries and adventures for yourself!

I loved it!  I really like the Diesel character and can't wait to check out the series with him in it.  There were lots of twists and turns and unnatural things in this book so it added a little more weirdness to the series.  It was entertaining and I enjoyed it.  If you are looking for a book to be believable, this is not your book.  There are a lot of strange characters and even stranger situations.  Most of the book seems very unlikely to happy but I liked it all the same!!  I hope that you pick it up at your local library or bookstore and see if you like it!
