Weekly Goals 3/2

I can't believe how much I got done in a week and it seems like Super Doubles was over ages ago (especially since I got everything to fit into the cupboards).  I worked this week and still got in time to get lots of things done.  I made a to do list on Friday that was the whole side of a piece of paper so I knew that I needed to get a lot done and I pushed and did most of it on Friday with a few things carrying over to the weekend.  I am exhausted and ended up taking a nap instead of doing everything that I should have gotten done on Saturday but it was the end to a great week.  I hope that you had a productive and relaxing week too!!!

Last week:

Family Goals
  • Spend time with family- We had lots of fun with a bowling party and an afternoon of family movies so it was lots of fun getting some quiet time with everyone.
  • Playdate with friends and it is the mom's birthday- We went to the park with friends and the mom got a special surprise that she was treated to a day off and a massage so I met up with the dad and his kid.  My son didn't even take a second look because it was his dad and not his mom and they went to playing although one mom on the playground asked me how far apart they were and when I said 6 months, I realized that she thought they were both mine.  Nope!
  • Playdate with friends after school (another mom and I are switching days picking the kids up from school so we get one day with no kids for most of the day and then another where the kids entertain each other so it is the best of both worlds so this should be my free day)- My son went to their house this time and he had a blast.  It was not fun trying to drag him out of there but he slept really soundly that night and we got him to sleep all the way until 7 am.  I told her whatever she did, she was welcome to do it anytime.
Personal Goals
  • Get coupons on Friday or Saturday- I got them on Friday at the library and my husband stopped and got a few at Giant so it was great to get out of the way.
  • Shut off computer 6 nights to save energy- I shut off the computer every night this week and got it off for most of the days that we weren't here and when we left.
  • Finally back to Jazzercise??- Even though I wasn't feeling great, I went on the only day that I had time so I at least got back into the routine.
  • Post additional coupons for sale to ebay- I posted a few more coupons to end out the month which should close in the next few days.  I made it over $50 this month so that was my goal.  I am hoping to be able to do it every month and see how long I can do it before getting burned out because it is a lot of work but it makes a little money so we will see how long it is worthwhile.
  • Get two or three more trips in to Harris Teeter Super Doubles- I wish that they had a little more stock but I made all of my trips and sadly didn't get all of the things that I wanted and I forgot some of the rain checks again when I had forgot to write them down so it was sad to see it over but hopefully I will be able to use the rain checks and coupons next time.
  • Make menu plan for March- Well, this has been a problem because I have the calendar and I even updated the list of freezer items and I keep staring at the page and not being able to get very far.  I put a few things on the list and then stop because I just can't get in the mood for thinking about food.  I think that it is a good thing to do when you are hungry and not tired...sadly, there aren't many times that I am not often hungry and not busy making a meal.  I have a few things filled in and there are a lot more to go.  I am going to work more on it tomorrow and cross my fingers that I get it all done.
  • Finish Wild book (true story which is going to be made into a movie soon)- I finished and posted the review so you should see it soon.
Home Management Goals
  • Clean dishes, counters and floors at least 5 days of the week- I did the keep the kitchen pretty clean this week but I had another messy week so I cleaned the floor and got down on my hands and knees to scrub it more.  It ended up much better then how I started and it was a great thing to keep us much cleaner for the coming week.
  • Clean dishes one night and not wait until the morning- We did this together earlier this week and then we did leftover night on Saturday so all the dishes were done and in the dishwasher to start the week off on the right foot.
  • Schedule tree removal in back yard- We scheduled the tree removal Tuesday and it was done on Wednesday and the stump was removed on Thursday.  The yard looks bigger with it gone and we are one step closer to figuring out how we are going to fix our fence.
  • Take the remaining fence posts out of the back yard to remove fence- We got a few of the fence posts out but some of them they are very heavy with cement so it is going to take a little bit more work to get them pulled out so my husband is going to have to get some extra hands.
Blog Goals
  • Post one post everyday (schedule 7 posts so that can spend more time with family) - I got all my posts scheduled this week ahead of time and I had a lot of extra time which I filled up with fun things with my son.
  • Review book reviews completed during the week (if done)- Review is posted and list of all of the books that I read in February should be coming up soon to.
  • Work on a few posts to work ahead for the coming week- I got a few posts up for the coming week and I have to look at it and see what else I need to get done but I think that I am on to a new week and totally prepared.
  • Post Sunday Weekly Goals, Menu Plan Monday, Kid Wednesday and Thrifty Thursday Tip- Got everything posted this week.
This week:

Family Goals
  • Spend time with family 
  • Go to the library to pick up some new books
  • Playdate with friends after school (another mom and I are switching days picking the kids up from school so we get one day with no kids for most of the day and then another where the kids entertain each other so it is the best of both worlds so this should be my free day)
  • Mom's Day at school so I get to spent the day with my son
Personal Goals
  • Get coupons on Friday or Saturday
  • Shut off computer 6 nights to save energy
  • Jazzercise (one day)
  • Subbing at school
  • Post additional coupons for sale to ebay until I reach my limit
  • Finish menu plan for March
  • Read Balanced and post review (electronic preview through publisher)
  • Read one of my Books to be movies soon
