Weekly Goals 2/9

We had a busy week last week with so many things going on and it is hard to figure out how people do all this with a job because just working two half days was all of the time that I had because it was hard to get things done with little free time.  I got a little bit of free time to go to the store and get things done like cleaning and laundry.  Looking forward to getting back into things next week but two days working again next week so hoping to keep organized to get everything done.

Last week:

Family Goals
  • Spend time with family - We had lots of great family time this week and we hoping my son would be interested in the Olympics but not so far :)
  • My son's five year check up- Went to the doctor and he took two shots like a champ with no crying.  Love that boy!!  Brought along two new toys just in case but he was just as excited to get them.
  • Event at the library (if we are feeling better)- We went to Legos at the library which was after the doctor and he had a blast.
  • We went to a storytime program and Lakeshore learning on Saturday and were busy all day
  • Playdate with friends- We went to a friends house after school on Wednesday and had a friend over to our house on Thursday.
Personal Goals
  • Cut coupons- I didn't do it yet but I hope to get to it soon.
  • Get coupons on Friday or Saturday- I got my coupons on Friday after working so I was pretty excited to get it done before forgetting.
  • Take pictures of my son's art work and get it organized- I took pictures of all my son's art work and recycled some of the paper and got the ones that we were keeping in a pile.
  • Shut off computer 6 nights to save energy- I shut off the computer every night and most days that I wasn't home.
  • Subbing at preschool 3 days- I worked two days this week and one was rescheduled because of the late opening from ice.
  • Massage!!!  (Yeah, thanks Aunt Joy and Uncle Lenny for the gift certificate)- I went and got my massage and the lady beat me up a little but I think that it worked out some of my tight spots.  She said that I was a mess and I should come back in two weeks...well, wouldn't we all love a massage every two weeks but it isn't in the budget.
  • Finish reading 5th book by Janet Evanovich- I finished the book and review should be up soon.
  • Start on next book in the pile from the library from Janet Evanovich 6th- Finished the 6th book and review should be posted soon and started the 7th book which is finished soon.
Home Management Goals
  • Clean dishes, counters and floors at least 5 days of the week- I kept the kitchen clean this week even made cookies and some other messes but got them all cleaned up until we were too busy on Saturday so hoping to start off the new week clean again!
  • Clean dishes one night and not wait until the morning- The kitchen was a mess by Tuesday morning so I got it all cleaned up on Tuesday night.  I got all the dishes done on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.  My Saturday the kitchen was overwhelming again but I did pretty well for the middle of the week.
Blog Goals
  • Post one post everyday (schedule 7 posts so that can spend more time with family) - I got all of my posts scheduled and didn't spend a lot of time on the computer this week.
  • Review book reviews completed during the week (if done)- Done
  • Work on a few posts to work ahead for the coming week- I got a little done for next week but not as much as I hoped so I am going to try to get some work done on Sunday.
  • Post Sunday Weekly Goals, Menu Plan Monday, Kid Wednesday and Thrifty Thursday Tip- Done
