Want to do something fun and free?
We use the library a lot!! I don't know about all library systems but Fairfax County Library is amazing. I think that most people would find something wonderful about their library because they all offer great things and they are all free.
Why should I use the library?
1. Lots and lots of books to read for free (including e-books)
2. DVDs for kids and adults
3. Books on tape (or CD now but the name book on tape is hard to beat)
4. Storytime and events for kids
5. Other events for adults
My son and I go there to read books. We could spend hours reading lots of books. Then, we get to bring up to 50 books and DVDs home with us. If there is every something that we want and the library doesn't have, I put it on reserve. I have gotten the chance to read and watch everything that I have wanted just by planning ahead or waiting. We also get to go to fun storytimes and events at the library. We have watched movies, seen science tricks, listened to musicians, learned Spanish, sang, danced, colored and best of all heard lots of great books.
If you want to know what your library offers, stop in and ask someone!! I highly recommend checking it out because there are tons of things for adults and kids that are almost all free.
Great place to share couponing stories, cooking and baking recipes, and lots of fun for families without spending a lot of money.
My daughter uses their free e-reading a lot. She was just telling me about it last week. She grew up in Fairfax County libraries - we loved our library time!

I need to get better about the e-reading. I don't know what it is about having a book in my hands that makes me happy but I am hoping to try to do the e-reading thing soon! At least for my little guy to see if that is something he likes :) Thanks for stopping by!! I was glad that I found you today!
