Harris Teeter Super Doubles Day #3

I got to the store with very little direction for the day and no coupons pulled and no idea what to get.  I found the clearance lunch meat which I was super excited about because I was out.  I grabbed a few of the Hershey's Chocolates, Yoplait and Reach dental floss which were my only freebies.  I got some Special K cereal and cracker chips to get the $2 off my order.  I got some Cabot cheese with a coupon from their e-mail (Thanks Becca!) so it made them $0.27 each.

I decided to check out the kids medicine with all of the coupons that I was holding and they didn't have the one that I wanted but I found this Pedicare which was normally $6.99 and on sale for $5.99.  After coupon, it was $3.99.  It seems like a good price to stock up on kid's medicine since we have had one sickness after the next this winter.  Sadly, I know we aren't done yet!!!

Then, I decided since I barely used any coupons, I decided to get the Glad trash bags.  I had some $2 off 2 printable coupons so they worked out to $4.99 instead of the normal $8.99.  I have actually gone through quiet a few trash bags with all the holidays so it is always good to refill stock.  Plus, this is one of those things that you run out of and you are surprised :)

Well, that is what I ended up with in the picture below.  Not really interesting and not the greatest total so moral of the story is to go better prepared.

Total OOP $14.83
Total Savings $49.37

Then, I got a coupon out of the machine so I went through self-checkout and got a free package of Breathe Right strips.  I only had to pay tax.

Total OOP $0.31
Total Savings $6.25
