Weekly Goals 12/9

Another sick week lead to a more hectic week because we are still not back on schedule.  Our little guy is waking up during the night because he is hungry for not eating enough the night before.  We are sometimes getting him back to bed and other times we are up for hours before a reasonable hour.  We are hoping that little man's increased appetite means that we might start getting sleep soon!!!  Hope that you are dealing with this illness because it is no fun!!!  Hope you had a great week and I can't wait to hear about next week.

This Week:

Family Goals
  • Spend time with my family- We had a great week and Daddy put up outside lights with the little man when he was feeling better.  We are all on the mend (more or less).
  • Playdate with a friend at the house- We had friends over to today and it was a good treat even though Dylan had a tough night and was up super early.
  • Get to Preschool on time- We took Monday off for our sick day and then went back to school on Wednesday and Friday.  YEAH!!! 
Personal Goals
  • Cut coupons- I got all the previous weeks coupons cut on Sunday morning and started this week.  I still had one more left to cut which I did on Monday.  YEAH, I am caught up!!
  • Get coupons at library on Friday- I went first thing on Friday and again at 12:30 and there was nothing.  I planned on doing it on Saturday morning and hoping for lots of papers still there.  I was really excited to see that I could still get my papers.
  • Shut off computer 6 nights to save energy- Did really well getting the computer off and kept it off for as much of the day as I could :) Forgot Thursday night, I think but it was a good week.
  • Read new book of choice after finishing We Bought A Zoo- I finished We Bought A Zoo and started Does This Clutter Make My Butt Look Fat?  Hoping to get halfway through by the end of the week and ended up finishing it!!!  Going to pick out another book for next week :)
Home Management Goals
  • Clean dishes, counters and floors at least 5 days of the week- Cleaned everything all week!
  • Clean dishes one night and not wait until the morning- Got most of the dishes done on Tuesday night but left two pans in the sink.  It was a rough week for doing dishes but they were all cleaned up in the morning if I didn't get them done at night.  I decided to clean up everything on Friday night and the kitchen was super ready for our busy weekend.
Blog Goals
  • Post one post everyday- Done
  • Make a new recipe and post- Finished posting some recipes that I didn't get up and hope to do another new one next week after everyone gets better- fingers crossed :)
  • Schedule at least 7 posts so that can spend more time with family- And then some!  Super excited to have a bunch scheduled for the month.
  • Review book reviews completed during the week - Book reviews written and posted
  • Work on a few posts to work ahead for the coming week- Excited that I am getting caught up now that I figured out my work around on the pictures.
  • Post Month End Budget Update, Reading Update and Cooking Update- Done 
  • Post Weekly Goals, Menu Plan Monday, and Thrifty Thursday Tip- Done
Next Week:
