Last Week:
Family Goals
Spend time with my family- We had a great week going to see Santa on Sunday, Christmas lights on Monday, and the rest of the week in our normal holiday rush.Go See Santa- We went to see Santa on Sunday and it was fabulous. If you haven't seen the "real" Santa at Merrfield Garden center, it is well worth the trip. He sings, tells songs and talks to each child about what is on their wish list. If you are in the VA area, I highly suggest skipping the mall and going the way of the frugal (okay free) and wonderful Santa experience.Playdate with a friend at the house- We got invited to their house instead which will be a nice treat to get out and have some fun after school.Get to Preschool on time- We were on time all week and gave out our holiday cheer to all the teachers and staff so it was a great week!!
Cut coupons- Nothing like waiting until the last minute but I did the coupons on Saturday. Luckily there are none this week so I am actually going to be ahead for next week!Get coupons at library on Friday- There was suposed to be a coupon insert and I found a post that said that Smart Source decided not to print one this week. I checked and there was nothing in the papers/Shut off computer 6 nights to save energy- Shut off every night!!Read- I did lots of reading this week and finished another book which I already posted the review for and I am on to the next one.
Clean dishes, counters and floors at least 5 days of the week- I cleaned the counters and floors this week for 5 days and did the dishes every day. I really want to know where all these dishes come from!!! UGH!!!Clean dishes one night and not wait until the morning-My husband fell asleep on night so I did the dishes while watching the 10:00 show in the kitchen. It made me super excited the next morning to come down to a clean kitchen!!! Really need to clean everything up every night but there always seem to be more dirty dishes than hours in the day.
Post one post everyday- Got one post up every day but it was a lot of work!Make a new recipe and post- I made cookies for my cookies exchange and posted the recipe which should be up soon.Schedule at least 7 posts so that can spend more time with family- I got my posts up for the week but was still working during the week on some to post the day before.Review book reviews completed during the week- DoneWork on a few posts to work ahead for the coming week- I tried to work ahead but I don't have a bunch of stuff up yet but I got a few done and I am hoping to have more done soon!!!Post Weekly Goals, Menu Plan Monday, and Thrifty Thursday Tip- Done
