Deep In the Valley Book Review

I was at the library with my little man when I saw that the area with the books that they were giving away was full.  I grabbed this book and one other which I am sure you will be seeing showing up soon.  The author sounded familiar and I did figure out that I read another book were there were three stories done by different authors and she was one of the authors.  It was a super great find to get a free book that I can now enjoy and share :)  Check out Deep in the Valley (Grace Valley Trilogy) by Robyn Carr.  The even better news is that it is a a first in a trilogy so I have two more books to add to my list from the library!!!

I didn't expect a lot from this book since I sort of grabbed it without looking at anything but it turned out to be a great book.  The main character was a middle aged doctor who had given her life to the small town that she lived in in order to be their doctor.  Through the book, you not only get to know the doctor but the rest of the interesting cast of characters in the town.  There are so many twists and turns in the book which keep you surprised at every turn.  It paints a great picture of how small towns support each other and what happens in times of trouble.

It is a great book and I can't wait to read the next in the series.  I hope that you check out this book in your local library or bookstore.  Let me know if you have read it or any other books by the author.  I look forward to reading lots more by this author and the great news is that it looks like she has a lot of other books out there!!!
