November Super Double Review

I bought so much over this round of Super Doubles.  I was totally surprised by the annoucement that Harris Teeter was having Super Doubles and my coupons were a mess but I rallied and got lots of deals.  It started on October 31st which I didn't count into the total because it was listed in October budget (even though it was part of Super Doubles so I still listed the link here because it looks weird starting with the second trip).

I stocked up on margarine, noodles, chocolate chips, bread flour, Tide, sprinkles, bacon and cereal.  Might seem like a random list but you get the deals that you can when they are available and these were super cheap this time.  Sadly, I did spend over half my monthly budget getting some splurges like tater tots, my husband's favorite.  I also did get a few things for my mom and dad and some of them aren't pictured because they were in a separate check out but they are in the total OOP since some of the stuff was from me.

I still have most of the month to go and lots of the budget spent.  I am planning on getting two turkeys.  We normally do one at Thanksgiving and one at Christmas.  Last year, there were no turkeys left to be had by Christmas and those that were cost three times what I can get them for this month.  I doesn't make a lot of sense to me but I will work within the system.  There is one deal at Harris Teeter and one deal at Giant that I am going to take advange of which will probably use up the rest of the month's budget.  Here is hoping for an uneventful rest of the month with one more trip planned to Aldi's if there is room in the budget.
