Last Week:
Family Goals
Spend time with my family- We had a wonderful week together.Go to the Pool with friends- We had a great time at the pool and it wasn't so hot this time which was a blessing even though it left our little ones shivering.Go to the park with friends- We had a good time at the park even though there were some older kids and a little more confusion then normal. The playgroup kids stuck together and we got through it. My little man had tons of fun and then we went to the store to get his free bag and book from his summer reading program.Go to Music Together class- We were really looking for to our class since we have never been able to do the classes because it is always on Friday and my little man was in school. Glad to have finally made it!!
ReadLighten Up: Love What You Have, Have What You Need, Be Happier with LessbyPeter Walsh- Wonderful book, make sure you check out the reviewReadUrban Pantry: Tips and Recipes for a Thrifty, Sustainable and Seasonal KitchenbyAmy Pennington- An interesting read with one recipe that I might tryCut coupons- YEAH! I finished this on Sunday afternoon.Try to go to Super Doubles one more time- I made it on Monday with little man in tow so I was pretty excited at a good outcome!! I even made it to the pharmacy to get some Sudafed for my husband who has been suffering through some terrible congestion. Maybe again Tuesday or too much to hope?? I did it!!Shut off computer 3 nights to save energy- I had to go back to the computer on Sunday night to shut it off but I did so I am hoping that I am starting the week off right! Done again on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday night.
Clean dishes, counters and floors at least 6 days of the week- I have done really great about keeping the kitchen and house picked up this week with running around in the morning to make sure that things are away before we go out on our morning adventures and then picking up before/after bedtime. Little man helped me pick up some of the toys yesterday morning and then told me that we had to clean up his train track.... okay, not on my list to pick up but he helped me pick up all of the train stuff too!! My little cleaner (when we wants to be).Clean dishes one night and not wait until the morning- I washed all the dishes and ran the dishwasher Monday night...I was thinking about cleaning the kitchen but I decided to get on the computer instead :) Hoping that I can clearly move this goal up to two times a week going foward.Make breadcrumbs for frozen bread ends- I started this on Saturday night and finished on Sunday morning. It made a mess of the kitchen but I cleaned out the entire door on the freezer. It looks like there are a lot of room for more stuff :)Start on going through magazines- I started through the magazines and filled the recycle bin so we headed off to the recycle center before going any further.
Post one post everyday- I got one post up everyday for the week and then some with finishing up the super double posts. It was a lot easier without family visiting and having a little more time worked into the morning schedule.Write Book review ofLighten Up: Love What You Have, Have What You Need, Be Happier with LessbyPeter Walsh- I posted it here!Write Book review ofUrban Pantry: Tips and Recipes for a Thrifty, Sustainable and Seasonal KitchenbyAmy Pennington- I posted it here!Schedule at least 5 posts so that can spend more time with family- DoneWork on a few more weeks of Thrifty Thursday to get ahead- I got a little more done but I am out of ideas again.
