Month End and Super Double Final Tally

I decided to see how I stacked up during this super doubles and what I saved.  I added up all my recipts with how much I spent OOP and how much I saved.  I think that I should go back and see how I did versus triples last month :)

Total Spent OOP      $72.37

Percentage Saved 84.4%

This includes one transaction that was my mom's that I paid for because she paid for a Harris Teeter trip for me the day before super doubles started to get lunch meat but I didn't post the deal because I didn't actually get anything even though it still counts as my OOP.  I am hoping to start tracking how much I save at least during the special Harris Teeter sales once a month because it is really hard to track the savings all month long (escpecially with stores like Aldi already having items at a great discount).  This was a great savings through just a few trips to the store.

With mostly trips to Harris Teeter, 2 Giant trip and 3 CVS trips, my monthly total is currently $101.59 OOP.  I know that I don't have enough in the freeze/refrigerator to last through July but I am going to stretch what I have as far as I can.  I guess I will count the extra into next month if I need additional budget since I am way below this month.  Here is hoping for some more good deals coming soon to stock up!!

**UPDATE:  There were a few last minute purchases with the power outages at Harris Teeter, Giant, and CVS but we have been out of power since Friday night.  I will update totals when we get power again but it is around $108 :)  Still way under and we got to splurge on Doritos to enjoy with no power :)  Hope that you guys have power and aren't enjoy the horrible weather we had that caused 4 million people to be without power.
