Harris Teeter Shopping Trip 4/13

The Friday evic special e-mail came out and there were a few great deals that I couldn't pass up.  Kleenex for $0.97, Egglands Best Eggs for $1.77, and Freschetta Pizza for $3.77.  I also had a rain check for Got2B haircare products which has been burning a hole in my pocket.

I picked my son up from school and went straight to the store to see if there were any deals left on the shelf, armed with my coupons and list.  We made a quick stop in our car cart to get some cookies and we were on our way to complete our list.

Eggs were first but they didn't have the right ones.  The extra large eggs were on sale but they only had the large eggs.  The manager nicely did a price override so that I could pay for the sale price of $1.77 for them.  There are so many reasons why I love Harris Teeter!!!  I had two coupons for $0.55 which doubled to $1.10 so I got them for $0.67 each.

Then I got three boxes of Kleenex which were on sale B1G1 (normal price $2.49) and there was an evic for $0.97 (limit 2) but I had to get three to use the coupon.  I don't have a clue what happened in the computer but it said that all three boxes were $0.69.  Really excited to get them so super cheap because I used a $0.30/3 coupon which doubled to $0.60 so I got them for $0.09.

The Brick Oven Pizza was $3.77 and I used a $1.50/2 so they were $3.02 each.  We haven't had the Brick Oven Pizzas in ages and $3 is my buy price for pizza so I figured since I was so low on my monthly budget that I would get 4 pizza.  I used my mother in laws card to get the second two since there was a limit of two- Thanks Cindy!!

I used the rain check for the Got2Be Hair products (normal price $6.25) and they were on sale.  After they rang up, they had to adjust the last coupon down so that I didn't make a profit on the items.  A different manager gladly came over and did it without question.  Again, I love Harris Teeter!!!

My total OOP was $14.45 with a saving of $53.28.  This is another one of those trips that I can truly say that I would never spend $67.73 on the items that I got today but I still feel like I got a great deal.  I have stayed way under budget for the month with only spending $43.14 after today's shopping trip so I am super excited to see if Super Doubles is next week or the week after.  I am ready to get some deals and stock up :)
