Back on Blossom Street Book Review

I decided to go straight on to the next book in the Blossom Street book series, Back on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber.  It was another fast read that I read really quickly.

This book goes back to Blossom Street with all of the happenings in the different shops along the street.  Susannah's Garden has opened next to A Good Yarn, Lydia's store.  Susannah has hired Colette, a widow who recently moved to town and lives over A Good Yarn.  Colette recently quit her job after a brief affair with her boss and after selling her house, she moves to this small town to hide out from her past and try to find a new future without her husband or job.  Lydia's niece, Julia, is a victim of a violent car jacking and is dealing with the emotional fall out from the event.  At the same time, Alix is trying to be flexible with her future mother in law while she plans most of the wedding which is not what Alix is looking for but finace Jordan isn't listening.  With sadness, Alix calls off her wedding and relationship with Jordan and disappears.

Pick up the book at your local library or bookstore and read for yourself to find out how all of the issues are resolved.  It is a page turner that is hard to put down.  I know that I am excited to start reading the next book in the series and seeing what else these great characters are up to!!  Hope you do the same.
