Pioneer Woman Cooks Book Review

The Pioneer Woman Cooks: Food from My Frontier by Ree Drummond was in the new books section at the library so I decided that I would bring it home.  Since I love reading cookbooks and love her blog, it was a great book for me to pick up.  It even showed the picture of what her kitchen looked like at the end of the day :)

It was a great cookbook with great pictures, stories and recipes.  I found a long list of ones that I really liked and might make sometime.  Check out my list:

Homemade Glazed Doughnut p. 8
Orange Sweet Rolls p. 14
Pam’s Pie Crust p. 37
Sloppy Joes p. 58
Simple Sesame Noodles p. 62
Fried Mozzarella p. 104
Pasta with Tomato Cream Sauce p. 139
Spicy Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork p. 158
Tequila Lime Chicken p. 170
Mexican Rice p. 173
Cornmeal Cakes p. 190
Ranch Style Chicken p. 208
Crash Hot Potatoes p. 127
Buttery Rosemary Rolls p. 228
Apple Dumplings p. 234
Citrus Butter cookies p. 236

Don't they sound yummy?  They would be even more appealing if you saw the pictures.  I hope that you pick up the cookbook and see if there are any recipes that might be yummy for your family.
