Mockingjay Book Review

Mockingjay (The Hunger Games, Book 3) by Suzanne Collins was the last book in the series for me to finish.  I wanted to savor it so that it wasn't done so quickly as the last one but I just couldn't do it!  It is such a fast page turning book, I lost my life for another day and finished it.  It was a great end to the series!!

Spoiler Alert:  This is the third book in the series so I don't want to ruin it for the books for you so don't read this because it might ruin the first two books if you don't want to know about them.  The book starts with District 12 burned down and Katniss walking through and looking at the wreckage.  Katniss is living in District 13 with her family, Gale's family, and a few other refugees from District 12 that survived.  The rebel cause decided to use Katniss as the Mockingjay to support the rebellion.  During this time, Peeta is captured and being used by the Capital to support their cause.  As the book progresses, there are many twists and turns that really kept me at the edge of my seat.

It is a great series and I highly recommend this book to everyone.  Pick this up at your local library or bookstore!!  Let me know if you read the book, what you thought and if you read them all at once.  I know am getting my life back and can read a book at a normal pace but it certainly was an interesting read!!  Hope you like it too :)
