Last Week:
Family Goals
Spend time with my family- We enjoyed a great three day weekend together!!Microsoft store playtime- It was poorly executed but my little guy still had fun. He enjoyed the fruit snacks and juice box tons and then playing after the whole thing was over.- We had friends over to play at the house and then went to the library to return some books and gets lots more which wasn't on the schedule but we had an open day so it is always best to get out and play!!
Storytime at the library- We went to storytime and then got some new books. Then we took a trip to the grocery store for a few things.Open House at school with kids playing- We went to the open house and played with all of the other new classmates that my little guy is going to have this year! We start school on Monday.Caterpillars and Polar Bear storytime- My son really enjoyed the Eric Carle books even if we had the strangest experience with the librarian that was doing the session. We brought a few home to read and he has enjoyed reading them over and over!
Parents open house at Little Man's school-My sister in law came and watched my little man while we went to the open house and met the teacher. It was nice that we both got to go again.Shut off computer 6 nights to save energy- I actually shut off the computer every night this week without any problems.ReadSHED Your Stuff, Change Your Life: A Four-Step Guide to Getting UnstuckbyJulie Morgenstern- I started reading this book but it seems to have taken forever because I haven't had much time to read, plus my reading light for bedtime died and I tried to fix it but it didn't work so I haven't gotten a lot of nighttime reading which is usually when I get my progress made. Hoping to finish it this week with all my "free" time from preschool!
Clean dishes, counters and floors at least 5 days of the week- I know that I missed one day of cleaning the floor and it was super gross the next day. One day I cleaned the counters twice because I made such a mess during the day. Overall, I kept the kitchen really clean this week.Clean dishes one night and not wait until the morning- On Sunday night, we did all the dished. Then on Monday, I washed all but one pot. On Tuesday night, we washed them all! We are doing much better at getting things cleaned up at night and not waiting until morning. I was super happy with the great start to the week. We did dishes a lot this week at night which was great.
Post one post everyday- DoneSchedule at least 7 posts so that can spend more time with family- I didn't have much up at the beginning of the week but I worked hard and turned it around and got lots of posts posted for this week.- Review book reviews completed during the week- I started the post about the book but since I didn't finish the book, I didn't finish the review :(
Work on a few posts to work ahead for the coming week- I got a few posts up for the coming weeks and I might even have them all up before the start of next week which is really exciting and I might get a chance to work ahead again!!Post Weekly Goals, Menu Plan Monday, and Thrifty Thursday Tip- Done
