Look Alive Twenty-Five Book Review

I love this series and even though they are becoming a little predictable with 25 books now in the series, I can't help bu pick them up and see what trouble Stephanie is going to get herself into this time. Look Alive Twenty-Five: A Stephanie Plum Novel by Janet Evanovich was the next in the series for me to read so I was excited to see it on the library new release list and I reserved it as soon as I could but I was pretty far down the list.  I was happy to get it on my reserve list but sadly, I also got three or four other new releases at the same time so it was busy reading.  Luckily, these books are always fast reads so I put it at the top of my pile.

Stephanie Plum faces the toughest puzzle of her career in the twenty-fifth entry in Janet Evanovich's #1 New York Times-bestselling series. There's nothing like a good deli, and the Red River Deli in Trenton is one of the best. World-famous for its pastrami, cole slaw, and for its disappearing managers. Over the last month, three have vanished from the face of the earth, and the only clue in each case is one shoe that's been left behind. The police are baffled. Lula is convinced that it's a case of alien abduction. Whatever it is, they'd better figure out what's going on before they lose their new manager, Ms. Stephanie Plum.

I was hooked at the very beginning but the farther you get into the book, the more it is impossible to put down.  I am always surprised with the trouble that Stephanie gets into by doing what she feels is the right thing.  Stephanie is put into the new job of running the deli that the bond agency gets from a bond that ran.  She is working to get a few people for the bond agency too.  It is always funny to see her interactions with Lula, who helps her catch the fugatives and Ranger, who she calls when she messes up and Morelli, her boyfriend.  The most amazing part of this book is that she doesn't loose any cars....okay one but it is found safely.  You have to pick up the book and find out for yourself all the great things that happen.  I hope that you check out this book and the rest of the fun series.I know that you will enjoy them as much as I have!!
