The Marriage Bargain Book Review

In my question to read through my large pile of books on my bookshelf, I took some time the other night to rearrange things.  I made a pile of the smaller sized books and moved all the books that I read on the shelves and the ones that I haven't read are shelved on top of the bookcase.  The Marriage Bargain (Marriage to a Billionaire) by Jennifer Probst was at the top of the pile so I started reading it.  It was a quick read by a new author that I have never read before.  I am going to look up the rest of the series and see if the rest are just as interesting.

To save her family home, impulsive bookstore owner Alexa Maria McKenzie casts a love spell. But she never planned on conjuring up her best friend's older brother - the powerful man who once shattered her heart.  Billionaire Nicholas Ryan doesn't believe in marriage, but in order to inherit his father's corporation, he needs a wife and needs one fast. When he discovers his sister's childhood friend is in dire financial straits, he offers Alexa a bold proposition: a marriage in name only with certain rules. Avoid entanglement. Keep things all business. Do not fall in love. The arrangement is only for a year, so the rules shouldn't be that hard to follow, right? Except fate has a way of upsetting the best-laid plans.

Any entertaining read that I enjoyed over the weekend so I am looking up the rest of the series to see if they are in the library but I don't see any of them so I guess that is the end of that series unless there are more in the pile that I still have to go through.  I enjoyed reading about Alexa and growing up for the shy child to outgoing and friendly bookstore owner.  She is looking to make her own way in the world and wants to help out her parents.  Her parents are about to loose the house that she grew up in because they are behind on payments because of medical bills. She decided to look for a husband that she could love that would also be able to help her parents.  She found an old friend who was willing to marry her and give her the money but not willing to risk his heart.  Nicholas Ryan needs to marry someone so that he can keep a business that he has worked his whole life in.  They are only going to be married for a year but that is a hard promise to keep.  Find out what happens in this story because I think you will be entertained!!
