Last week went with the plan exactly because there really wasn't any other option. Saturday we had morning soccer game followed by homemade pizza and then evening event where there was a pot luck dinner but that doesn't always go well with my picky eater but I brought cookies...and they had pizza. My son said he was the luckiest boy to have pizza twice in one day! On Sunday, I had invited friends over for a BBQ which we confirmed on Friday so I got together a quick menu to make sure that we had enough options and ended up with grilled boneless chicken and bone in chicken, white rice, salt potatoes, corn on the cob, chopped salad with homemade croutons, and corn bread and then they said that they were having us over so I didn't have to cook. So that was fun time with friends and I just made some treats to bring along. Summer is upon us and more time spent at the pool is going to mean that we have more meals on the go so I guess we will try to figure out how to plan for that.
