A Father in the Making Book Review

I was ready to read the next book on my pile.  A Father in the Making (Love Inspired\Hearts of Hartley Creek) by Carolyne Aarsen was the next book and I knew nothing about it either.  It is interesting to go through my stack of books that I have picked up at the library with not a lot of knowledge and just because they are free.  I was hoping for another entertaining and fast read to distract me from my sickness.

Nate Lyster and Mia Verbeek are in perfect agreement—letting someone new into your life is much too risky. Mom to four kids, Mia can't let just anyone get close, while wandering cowboy Nate learned young that trusting another means chancing heartbreak. But when a fire turns Mia's life upside down, Nate is the only one who can get through to her traumatized son. Nate fits into Mia's family perfectly, and they soon realize that a loving family is what they both want. Can they put the hurts of their pasts behind them…for a chance at a perfect love?

Mia was getting along the best that she could after her husband left her with two young children and pregnant with two more.  He moved on to younger women and left her without any support to care for their four children.  She bought a flower shop and lived above it in order to make a life for her family.  She put her children first all the time and she was working to make them have the best life while growing up.  Then everything turns around for Mia and she meets someone that she can see sharing her life with but it isn't all for the best.  You have to pick up the book to find out everything that happens.  I hope that you check out this book for yourself.  I know that you will enjoy it as much as I did.
