We have a three day weekend which means that there was a chance that we stay home or a chance we would take a trip so I didn't plan anything this weekend. Great news we are headed out to have a little fun so I don't need to plan anything for the weekend other then start packing.  I can't believe that we are almost done with the month!!  I am pulling out the calendar and planning next month already.  Do you plan your menus by the week or the month or play it by ear when dinner comes??

I hope that you have a tasty week!

  1. Ooh, sounds fun! Are you going to visit family or is it purely a "play" weekend? We're staying home. We always stay home. Well, at least in the home vicinity, LOL.

I haven't made a menu in a couple of weeks and I might not make one this week either, I haven't decided. I haven't stressed too badly about what to cook and so far I haven't had a lot of food waste either so maybe I'll go keep on going with the flow for a while...I'm defrosting a couple of chicken breasts and some cooked chicken dark meat too. I plan on marinating and then grilling the chicken breasts tonight and serving them with roasted potatoes and steamed broccoli. The cooked dark meat will go into "burritos" for Greg and my lunch tomorrow. I might make a blackberry cobbler.

    1. We are visiting family. We used to go on Memorial Day but because of the traffic we have stopped. My husband decided we were going this year and the traffic was crazy!!! I do so bad when I don't have a menu. I started on June's plan but I didn't get very far in the process yet so I guess it will be after vacation!! I want some blackberry cobbler now :)

Thank you for visiting my blog today! I really appreciate any input or ideas so add your comment below.
