Plum Lucky Book Review

I had a book sitting on shelf so I decided to pick it up and start reading when I finished my pile in my nightstand.  Plum Lucky (Stephanie Plum: Between the Numbers) by Janet Evanovich was that book.  I realized that I read through the books in the series (not all of them yet) and skipped the books between the numbers.  I never looked up the order because the author made it so easy that it was in the title that I never looked them up!!!  It didn't really seem like it would matter since I already read many books past it so I grabbed the one that I already had at home and started reading.  It was a quick and entertaining read.

The book starts with St. Patrick's Day and Stephanie is not wearing any green and Lula telling her that shirks all holidays.  They are going down the street and see Stephanie's Grandmother walking with a really heavy bag.  They were going to stop and help her when a little man wearing green stops his car and gets out to try to take the bag from Grandma but Grandma hits the man and they start fighting.  Stephanie and Lula have to break up the fight and the little man disappears.  The next day Stephanie's mom calls and Grandma is missing!!! Stephanie's mom is upset and tells her that she has to go find her since it is her job to find people. Stephanie finds a brochure for Daffy's Casino in Atlantic City in her Grandmother's room so she decides to head there and Connie and Lula agree to go too!!  In addition, Diesel pops back into Stephanie's life and it turns out that they cases are overlapping.  There is a lot of excitement in Atlantic City and the story gets crazier and crazier just as most do when they involve Stephanie and her Grandmother!!  You better pick it up to find out what happens!

I loved it as I did all of the books in the series.  I can't point to one that I didn't like but it was a really quick read so make sure you are prepared that this is much shorter then the other books in the series.  I can't wait to read a few others that are between the numbers because I just grabbed them from the library.  Have you read any of the ones between the numbers?  I look forward to the next in the pile soon!!!  I hope that you pick one up at your local library or bookstore soon.
