Super Doubles Trips #3 and #4

I went to the store a few more times before the super doubles sale was over.  I wish that I made it there more but it was fun to get some great deals.  I used the overage from the Tai Pei and Hormel meal to pay for some of the lunch meat and lettuce.  Those were the only things on the order that weren't free.  I love to say that!!  It was a good problem to have that I was searching for something to use my overage on because so many things were free.  I used a free coupon to buy a Coke product which I did before and it doubled but this time it didn't (not pictured) :(  I was hoping for the overage so this was the most expensive trip to Super Doubles but a super great trip.

I went to a new store and decided that I was going to get some stuff that my store was out of for most of the trips.  I grabbed a few things that weren't at my store but for the most part it just helped to be a in different store and pay attention more.  I am not sure how I missed the free Mahatma brown rice.  I would have picked up some of those sooner (we might have been out at my store but I don't have a clue).  The store was out of the white rice for $1 which I also really needed and the coupon expired at the end of the month.  I did get free granola bars, Jello, spaghetti sauce, brown rice, Choc Coconut drink, Command strips and cheese raviolis.  In the back are two clearance Hamburger Helper that I paid $0.07 each for.  I made a profit on the L'Oreal Mousse which I decided to use on the Quilted Northern toilet paper evic price.  I was a low price but the overage made it even better deal.

I bought a bottle of Optic White Mouthwash which I thought was on sale for $5 but it wasn't!  I ended up returning it and that is why I made a profit on this transaction.  I was hoping to try it but the shelf price was $7.99 and even with the coupon was too high.  I returned it.  My best advice for those things that don't work out right, return and start over.  Sadly the last day of Super Doubles so it was my last trip.

  1. Nice shopping! I was sad that my store had no command hooks - or Dr. Scholl's inserts!

    1. I didn't see any command hooks either. I found the command poster hangers. I figure that I get to sell those on ebay cause they are super light weight :) I didn't see the Dr. Scholl's either. There were a few deals that I couldn't find so I stayed with the basic stuff and I think that I did okay. I would have liked to have looked at some other stores and around but there just wasn't enough time or energy this time.
