Summer on Blossom Street Book Review

Summer on Blossom Street by Debbie Macomber was next in the Blossom Street series.  I reserved it at the library and it came in right in time.  I was super excited to read it but of course it was a hard covered book so it took a little longer because it was hard to carry everywhere with me but I finished it surprisingly fast in spite of the heavy weight of the book.
In this book, the Good Yarn starts another knitting class which is called Knit to Quit so that everyone trying to quit something can concentration on something else constructive like knitting.  Phoebe is leaving a bad relationship.  Alix is trying to quit smoking in order to have a baby with her husband.  Bryan Hutchinson, called "Hutch" by his friends, is trying to stop working so hard and work on rehabbing his finger after a bad injury (as well as lower his blood pressure).  All of the group formed with different interests and goals and ended up friends in the end.

At the same time, Ann Marie is dealing with her adopted daughter's biological father and custody issues.  Lydia and Brad have decided to adopt and have finally gotten approved but instead of finding a infant, they are placed with a temporary foster child, Casey, a little older than Cody, their son.  There are a lot of things going on for a lot of characters and they are all fascinating but I am not going to ruin the whole book so make sure you pick it up at your local library or bookstore and find out what happens!!!
I love the Blossom Street series and the writing of Debbie Macomber.  I only have two more left in the series so I will have to start with the next series soon.  Have you read this series?  I am going to go to the Cedar Cover books next but with my track record, I will go through them quickly so make sure you let me know where I should go next!!!
