On our slow day, I decided that we had to get everything done so little man and I got in the car and went to the bank, library return, hair cut for him, show store to get measured, William Sonoma to get a gift for Grandma with no luck, NVFS to drop off donations with Miss Colleen, and then on the way to Harris Teeter... little man cashed it in and was snoring from his car seat. I drove through to drop off the donations to Salvation Army and then went home. That was the slow day so you can imagine what my week looked like.
Especially hitting home when I picked up my little man today from school and he said "Where are we going before we go home?" Nowhere! Mommy can't take anymore trips!!!
I hope that you had a great week and accomplished as much as I did... hoping to rest my aching foot after smashing it against one of the seven tracks set up in my living room on Friday morning. Talk about seeing stars!!! I don't think that I have ever seen stars in front of my eyes as much as I did when I took out Santa's workshop from the side of the Christmas Thomas track.... I think that it was Aunt Lynn's revenge for the train that she stepped on where she bruised her foot for weeks last year. Anyway, planning for a less busy week next week...after super doubles is over and then resting my aching foot!!!
Last Week:
Family Goals
Spend time with my family- We had a lot of time together with the little bit more holiday at the beginning of the week so we got to have Daddy home.Back to preschool- Yeah! It was great for both of us to have a little break and little man to be back on schedule.New Years Eve dinner at the house- We had a great dinner of yummy Chinese food from our favorite place which is a New Year's Eve tradition with my sister in law and her friend. We were in bed by 10:20 pm.... are we old or what?!
Get coupons at library on Friday (finally- hopefully)-I went and they didn't have any so I sent my husband after work and he came home with my pile to start cutting! I think that I am going to spend some at super doubles first :)Shut off computer 6 nights to save energy- I did a great job with this during the week and giving my computer some much needed rest after getting ready for Super Doubles....I can't say the same for my printer :)FinishHow to Behave So Your Preschooler Will, Too!bySal Severe- Done. Returned to the library and the review is posted so you should see it soon!
Clean dishes, counters and floors at least 5 days of the week- I don't know why this kitchen was such a mess but I guess with three meals a day home for the three of us and trying to clear out the refrigerator which we cleaned from top to bottom the other day!!! I got the dishes and counters cleaned most of the days but I think that the floors were missed a few days...or at least it seemed that way everytime that I picked up because there was so much. Anyway, the kitchen was mostly clean, most of the time!Clean dishes one night and not wait until the morning- I don't think that I get credit for this but my husband mostly for the dishes done on at least two or three nights. It was super great to wake up to that and not have to worry about rushing around in the morning to get caught up.
Post one post everyday- DoneSchedule at least 7 posts so that can spend more time with family- DoneReview book reviews completed during the week (if done)-DoneWork on a few posts to work ahead for the coming week- Done. I got the framework and labeling done for all of the Weekly Goals and Menu Plan Mondays for the month. I am working on finishing up the January Thrifty Thursday tips which I should have done soon. I hope that the month will be a little better planned out than last month with all the holiday rush.Post Weekly Goals, Menu Plan Monday, and Thrifty Thurday Tip-Done
