Paper Doll (Spenser) by Robert B. Parker was the next in the Spenser series that I left off reading. I was super excited to get back to reading this books because they are so different. I always love reading them and think that this book is better than the last...since I don't remember the last one, I guess I can say that I really enjoyed it.
In this novel, Spenser is hired by a rich husband to investigate his wife's murder because the police don't have any leads. The husband says that he has two perfect children and the perfect wife. This leads Spenser to question the wives past and head South to research. Spenser quickly learns more than he wants to about the family, their lies, and even more. You will be surprised by the twists and turns that this book takes and I hope as entertained as I was!!
I hope that you check out the Robert B. Parker novels at your local library or bookstore. I love starting at the beginning of the series and working my way through (even authors that don't go in order). If you haven't read this author, I hope that you check out one of the books and see what I am talking about.
