Books I Plan to Read in 2013

I moved all my books around on my shelf to figure out what I own that I still hadn't read and what was still on my list to read.  I found that there were 19 books left on my shelf listed below.  The second is a list of the Robert Parker novels that I want to read in order so I will start reserving at the library to complete 19 books on the list in my notebook.  It seems like fate that I have 19 books on both list (until I got ahead of myself and read one in December) so I am going to say that this is a complete list plus the books from the library that I find about motherhood, kids, cooking, and living a frugal life.  I added the list of books that I already reserved to start reading soon!!

Below is a list of all of the books that I want to read during 2013 and I will update at the end of each month based on which ones I complete (plus whatever gets added from the library).  Any suggestions are welcome and I look forward to hearing what you are reading too!!!

End of the year update:  I crossed through all the books that I read this year and the books that aren't crossed through are still sitting on my shelf unread.  I did a little bit too much library reading and not nearly enough reading for the books that I already owned.  I tried to stop it during the year but I just started reading more and more from the library and I couldn't stop myself.   How did you do this year??? Make sure you set a goal for next year and keep track of how many books you read!!  Can't wait to hear :)

I am starting off January with a Robert Parker novel from the library and then seeing where I go from there!!!  Are you going to be reading lots this year?  This list gets me on track for reading over 40 books plus others that pop up during the year.  I am aiming for 4 books a month and hoping for lots more.

UPDATE:  I have been reading over 10 books a month and by the 6 month mark have already read 84 books.  I know that there are plenty more to read in the next six months!

The super great thing about your library is that you get all the books for FREE!!!  I hope that you check out your local library and find some books that you are interested in too :)
