Family Goals
Spend time with my family- We had a great weekend and got to visit some new houses Open Houses on Sunday. Followed by a busy week of family fun!!Get to Preschool on time- We had a great week and got out of the house with no trouble!- Meetup with friends at the park- It was pouring rain so we didn't get to the park when we were suposed to go :)
Lunch date with friends after school- We had a great time playing with our friends after school and they entertained themselves for hours with made up words and balancing pillows on their heads... very strange but they were entertained so it was a good day.Storytime at the library- We went to storytime at the library and one of the moms looked super familar to me but I just figured that it was someone that I had seen before at my million library visits so I smiled and went back to storytime. After it was over, she came up and said that her daughter was in my son's class at school! Oops! I really need to get better at faces but since I left my job, I don't seem to have the same head for names!! Note to self: Ask son who it is!!!
Cut coupons- I sorted my inserts into groups on Sunday but didn't have enough room or energy to cut them. I put them off until Tuesday when I cut one of them...loosing steam quickly with four inserts. I started more on Wednesday and was pretty proud to get two more done. The last one hanging on until Friday!! Better late than never right?.Get coupons at library- Since I am having trouble remembering what day of the busy week it is, it is good thing that I have this on my list. I grabbed my papers and we went to look at books and by the time that we left, there were no papers left. Can you believe it?? They go quick.Shut off computer 6 nights to save energy- I did a great job shutting off the computer every night!!!Read new book of choosing- I got to start a new book and I was pretty excited to be reading something other than the book that I had been reading forever!! Then I got another book at the library and started two at the same time! UGH! Not a great way to jump back from a bad book but I guess that is what I get for not giving up on it when I should have.
Clean dishes, counters and floors at least 5 days of the week- Between my husband and myself, we got the kitchen cleaned all week. The hard part is when you get the whole kitchen clean and then make lunches and breakfast and then have more dishes!! I don't do a great job getting a second wind to do them again. If I do then, it is impossible to motivate me to do the dinner dishes right away. Did I mention that I hate doing dishes??? It is like the task that is lowest on my list but I hate having dirty dishes.Clean dishes one night and not wait until the morning- I have been trying to get the energy to do it all week and I finally motivated on Thursday night to get ready for a busy Friday morning!
Post one post everyday- Done.Make a new recipe and post- Done!!! Lots of yummy recipes made!Schedule at least 7 posts so that can spend more time with family- Done!- Review book reviews completed during the week
Work on a few posts to work ahead for the coming week- I got the rough drafts of menu plans and a few other things but not a lot of posts done other than cooking.Post Weekly Goals, Menu Plan Monday, and Thrifty Thursday Tip- I got all of the posts up!
