Harris Teeter Shopping Trip 10/2

After a busy month in September, I still went back to the store at the beginning of October.  I had to catch the end of the whole chicken sale.  Plus, I wanted to grab more Cheese-Its which they were sadly mostly out of but it might have been for the best so I didn't buy too many more.  We were also out of bread so I got one loaf.  I was going to use my rain check to buy 4 loaves but I left it in the car so I am sure that I will be going back soon to get some more bread since my son is on a toast kick!!

I also had a Ritz coupon burning a hole in my pocket.  I had an issue with a box of Ritz crackers were they were smashed and one of the sleeves was half empty and open.  I called the company and they sent me a coupon to get a free box of any cookie or crackers that I wanted.  Since I wanted Ritz, I decided that I would be using the coupon for them.  Isn't this the prettiest back of a coupon that you have ever seen??  The coupon was good until the end of 2013 but the Ritz were on sale for Buy One, Get One so I figure that now was as good a time as any because I got two free boxes!!

I bought more than I needed (adding to my whole chicken stockpile which is now at 11).  We went through the last ones so quickly and I paid $0.77 per pound so I didn't think that it got any better than $0.69 for me.  I should have been able to hold back but I just seem to be week!!
