Sippy Cups Are Not for Chardonnay: And Other Things I Had to Learn as a New Mom by Stefanie Wilder-Taylor was a book on my to read list since I read the authors other book and was totally entertained. When I went to the library with my little man, he gave me about ten seconds to pick out a book so I grabbed this and went to check out.
The author is entertaining and so close to the mark on every subject. Check out the title of her chapters:

Although this list makes it look like this is a 500 page book, it really is only 218 pages. It is a super fast read and the short chapters help to fit in the reading between taking care of your kids :) Her humor in approaching every subject like getting ready to leave the house with a little one makes you laugh, even if it is true. Packing a million bags with change of clothes, diapers, food, and entertainment takes up the whole car. After you make it all the way to the store and the baby decides that they hate being in their stroller and you have to leave :) It had me laughing the whole way through from doctor's visits to potty training.
I hope that you check this out at your local library or bookstore (if you have kids...if not, I promise you won't find it nearly as humorous). Please let me know what you think :)
