Harris Teeter Shopping Trip #5 (Possibly the last)

Sadly, we are getting close to the end of super doubles.  My son and I went to the store today to grab some pull-ups.  They have been on my list all week but I kept forgetting to print the coupon.  I finally did it the other night along with a few more deals that I wanted to get but they were out of all of them :(  No more Damp Rid, Cover Girl Powder Puffs, Smart Balance Milk, Cottonelle Toilet paper, and lots more.

I grabbed a package of nighttime pull-ups because it was the only one left.  I was super tempted to by the princess ones since I know that he would like them just fine too but I wasn't sure if the girl ones had a different absorption area for the tinkle??  I would prefer not to get the leaks so I am crossing my fingers for tomorrow.

We also grabbed one more turkey lunch meat so that we can make it through a long time without having to worry about getting more lunch meat.  I also got two Red Baron Pizzas since they were on an evic special for $2.77.  I was hoping to get a little more and save a little more but it was still worth the trip.

Total OOP $11.90
Total Savings $15.25

  1. I have enjoyed pouring over your blog! We went today too. They were out of the big stuff too but we scored big time and got our entire bill for $1.87! So thrilled with our visit. It actually came up as $12. Something, and I accepted that and moved on but as I was about to load the kids in the car I realized the juice did not ring up buy 2 get 3 free so we went back in to customer service and he gave me cash of 11.07!!!!! ;)

  2. Those trips are the best because you figure out the issues before you leave the store and make out with a great total!! I guess I should have gone with you instead :) I am hoping to make it tomorrow and they will have magically stocked the shelves with the stuff I need :)

  3. oooh, just came to a realization today - I've passed over these coupons on smart source.com for Alexia products, but they make frozen veggies too! I am printing mine out now and going to try those tomorrow - looked like they had plenty at mine today. sorry if I'm bugging you :D Love sharing and getting tips with fellow mamas!

    1. Alexia also makes garlic bread. It used to be really cheap at HT but the last time I looked it was super expensive. They make a ton of things and bound to be more every day. I love lots of comments so keep them coming :)

  4. I wish we lived so close to a store to make all these short trips. I am currently without a car but even still its a 30 min drive to the nearest store. :/

  5. I am super lucky to live in a big city area with millions of grocery stores (at least three Harris Teeters within 30 miles) and as many Targets and Wal-Marts as you can imagine! I grew up in one small towns that didn't have any traffic lights or fast food or even pizza delivery until I went to college so I guess I saved it all up so that I would have it when I am an adult!!!
