Hard Eight Book Review

The next book in my pile and the next one in the Stephanie Plum series was Hard Eight (Stephanie Plum, No. 8) (Stephanie Plum Novels) by Janet Evanovich.  I picked it up just as I was finishing the last book and I was super glad to find out what happened next in the adventure.  I am going to try to take a break from this series for a little bit to read a few books that I am reading with a friend but I can't wait to get back to it once I get a few other books read.

I don't even read the back of the books anymore because I know that I am going to be surprised by all of the crazy situations that Stephanie gets herself into while trying to apprehend the FTA (failure to appears) that she gets while being a bounty hunter and this was no different.  Steven Soder was enforcing a child bond because his ex-wife took his daughter, Annie and ran away.  It turns out that bad guy, Eddie Abruzzi, is associated with Soder and starts stalking Stephanie.  She is trying to find the ex-wife and Annie because her parents neighbor is going to loose her house if that aren't found.  Stephanie finds the ex-wife's lawyer who then decides that he wants to help with the case.  It is a laugh a minute with more cars blowing up and a crazy rabbit chasing Stephanie.

I hope that you pick up this book when you get a chance and see how much fun (and trouble) Stephanie gets into while working as a bounty hunter.  She keeps saying she is going to get another job but she loves working on her own schedule and since there are more books to come, I can only think that there are more books that are going to be coming with a lot of the same.  Make sure you start at the beginning and read through this series at your local library or bookstore.  Let me know if you have already read it which one is your favorite.
