The Vow Book Review

The Vow: The True Events that Inspired the Movie by Kim Carpenter, Krickitt Carpenter and Dana Wilkerson was a really great gift from my cousin for my birthday.

The book was a super fast read which I did in one day!  I started it in the morning and took a break to go to the library with my son, and then read it before/instead of naptime and I was done!  I do recommend having a few tissues around during this quick read and not doing it out in public if you are little bit of messy crier.  If you make it through this without crying, I don't know how you did it.

If anything, this is the most motivational book that I have read in ages.  It really makes you appreciate the life you have and all of the people in your life.  It reminds me of why you stop everything you are doing when someone is leaving for work in the morning to say goodbye and I love you so they know how much you care about them because you don't know how their day is going to go.  Even if they don't go through the hardship that this couple went through, you know they remember your good wishes.

I recommend this book to everyone (except maybe my cousin since she doesn't like the really sad books) so check it out at your local library or bookstore.  Check it out and let me know what you think!  Have you seen the movie???  I can't wait to see it now too :)
