Finally Made it to Target!!

I am super excited that I finally made it to Target to get the Rose Art crayons!!!  They had tons and tons in stock so I didn't even make a dent in their stock with my purchase. 

Can you tell how many crayons are in that picture??  It is 36 boxes!  I also got three boxes of glue sticks.  Luckily, they finally had the Paper Mate pens on sale for $1 so I grabbed two since I had two coupons. 

Then, since I had my three year old with me, we had to take a brief intermission to stop and play in the toy section.  He loves the wooden trains that Target sells for $3 each.  I don't know why but they could entertain him for hours.  We don't have any wooden trains at our house our wooden train tracks.  Even though he has a love of Thomas- we have the other two sets so I am drawing the line at anymore train tracks!!  Anyway, my stomach started to growl and we still needed to grab a few things. 

We went to the food section and I grabbed a box of Goldfish and my son told me that he didn't need them yet.  He was right but I needed to get over $5 more of stuff so that my overage on the crayons would be applied to something else and the computer wouldn't yell at me.  I saw the lettuce which we need and then I decided to check on the milk prices... $2.49!  DONE!!  I still needed more and we went down the pasta aisle.  I saw the Arthur mac and cheese (Annie's brand) on sale for $1 each so I grabbed two and we were off to the check out.

We pulled into the check out and another cashier opened a register and the women in front of me and me were the only two people she took :)  WOW!!  Now that is service.  She rang up all my stuff and then gave me two bag credits...scanned all the coupons and the total dropped to $1.06.  I had a Target gift card to pay with so the total OOP was really nothing for me!!!  Saved $18.47 with coupons and sale prices :)

Sad note:  They were out of the Comet Cleaner which I had coupons to make free and I totally forgot to pull out the coupon for the Annie's products!!!  If we go back, I might try to get the coupon money back but I think that they might be a little confused with the already really low total $0.53 before tax :)

Make sure you go to Target and get your free crayons or glue sticks with coupon from 7/29 RP $1/3.  The crayons are on sale for $0.20 and the glue sticks for $0.25.  You make a profit with either one!!  If you have older kids and you want markers or colored pencils, they are on sale for $0.49.  You can buy one marker and two boxes of crayons and still get everything for free!!!  If you don't need them, make sure you donate them to someone who does :)
