The Girls of Mischief Bay Book Review

I read the third book in the series first and went back to get the first book!  The Girls of Mischief Bay by Susan Mallery was at the library so I grabbed it.  I was glad to get the first book to go back and check out the series.  I hope that you check it out too!

Nicole Lord wants to be a good wife, but there's a difference between being supportive and supporting her husband, who quit his job to write a screenplay she's never seen. I thought that this was an amazing book!  I really enjoyed the story and the real life ups and downs of the families.  Nicole was dealing with her husband leaving his job with no warning and all the fall out that had for the family.  She was working in her small business, raising her son and taking care of the house so she was exhausted not getting any support from her husband.  Shannon was alone and hoping to move forward her career but thinking that made sure she spent the rest of her life alone.  Pam was dealing with an empty nest and trying to make a new life with her children grown.  All of the stories mix together in this small town and it is interesting to find out what happens but you have to pick up the book to find out for yourself.  I got it because I read the later book in the series and I wanted to go back and see what the other ones were.  I am glad that I went back and I am adding the second book to the books I need to read next month!!
