Heat Storm Book Review

I put this book on reserve because it was the next book in the series that I really enjoyed.  Heat Storm (Nikki Heat) by Richard Castle is the ninth book in the series.  If you have watched the Castle series on TV, this is the book series that they are writing through out the shows.  It is very interesting to get into the characters of the book as well as a great action series itself.  If you are interested in very action packed books with great characters, you should check out this series and this book.

I really enjoyed this book and I had trouble putting it down.  It seemed to have even more action then the other books.  Both Derrick and Nikki were searching for different pieces of the puzzle but they were both involved in different problems.  Nikki was in New York fighting for her life while people were trying to kill her.  She was looking into her mother's life and trying to solve the mysteries that her mother left behind.  Hoping that solving these mysteries will help her mother come out of hiding, Nikki jumps into this problem with both feet.  Derrick is working against his employer while trying to figure out what the Shanghai Seven has to do with events now happening in the United States after his botched mission oversees.  Both of their paths converge in New York with lots more action together if that was even possible.  The great part of all of these books is that they could easily be movies with all the amazing characters and action.  I hope that you check out this book for yourself because I know that you will love it as much as I did.
