Full Tilt Book Review

The second book in the series was next in my pile of books.  Full Tilt (Max Holt) by Janet Evanovich, Charlotte Hughes was the next in the Full series that I was reading.  I was excited to get to the second book when I finished the first. 

Jamie Swift has one priority in quiet Beaumont, South Carolina: running the local newspaper. Romance runs second. But with the arrival of her silent partner, the notoriously mysterious and sexy Maximillian Holt, Jamie's life gets shaken up. Max claims he's here to give his brother-in-law a vote of confidence. I was super excited to get to the second book in the series and surprised to see that there was so much of a jump in time between the first and the second book.  There was about 20 years between the two books but I was immediately sucked into the storyline so I couldn't wait to see what happened next.  There was a little bit of talk about the time that had passed and what different things had happened during that time like Max moving in with his cousin and new wife to start to get a more stable life.  It was a great story and left me really wanting more at the end of the book so I grabbed the next book immediately!!  I hope that you pick up this book at your local library or bookstore soon.
