Sisterchicks
Do the Hula (Sisterchicks Series #2) by Robin Jones Gunn was on the list for the blogging for books website. I was interested to find out more about what it was about. I was excited to start it when it arrived in the mail.
In the book, best friends Hope and Laurie find themselves after a long absence right back to where they were in college. They are best friends who talk all the time and decide that they deserve that vacation that they talked about back in college. They set up the trip to Hawaii only to find out that there will be a third person coming on the trip. Hope is pregnant!!! They still take a trip of lifetime and learn lots about themselves and the island while they are there. Pick up the book to find out all of their great adventures that they have on the way through Hawaii including the museum tour, making leis, tea house, and riding around in a red convertible.
This was my first Sisterchicks book and I didn't realize that it was part of series until I read the other information in the book. I really enjoyed the book and it was a really fast read. It was a page turner that not only wanted you to wish you had a friendship that great but it also made you want to go to Hawaii!!! If you are looking for a good beach book or one to wish you were on the beach, this is the book for you. It shows how strong friendship is and how much lifelong friends do to help each other. I can't wait to find some others in the series to add to my must read list. I hope that you pick up this book at your local library or bookstore. I can't wait to hear what you think about this book or any in the series!!
