Menu Plan Monday 2/17
Monday- Chicken Fingers with homemade fries
Tuesday- Chicken Tacos with saffron rice
Wednesday- Sloppy Joes with mac and cheese
Thursday- Sausage Tortelloni with garlic bread
Friday- Southwest Chicken Spiedies with white rice
Saturday-Leftovers/Breakfast for Dinner
Sunday- Leftovers/Frozen Pizza
I got most of my meal plan done at the beginning of the month so that I would be ready this month to use what was in the house and not have to do much shopping outside the house except for the things that we go through weekly like fresh veggies and milk. I went out for a trip to get a few things that we needed at the beginning of the month and was set with my plan. I was all set until I got to this Sunday. I decided that I would plan to use my frozen pizza which are usually kept for emergencies when dinner can't be made in time but this time I am planning on taking it easy. Do you have those days where you don't want to do any work in the kitchen? Is it most days? What do you have planned for the week?
I promise that making a plan is half the effort and if you set up a weekly or monthly plan, then making dinner is a lot less effort because you don't have to think about it. You make exactly what you put on the calendar (or switch it with another day if things don't go well). Do you meal plan? I love it!!! It helps me save time and money (and keeps me mostly sane).
